Has anyone had problems playing CD-R's in those little discman portable CD p_layer_s? I plan to get one, but most of my discs (the bootlegs) are CD-R, and I'd hate to not be able to listen to them. You know, it's funny that you ask this, Dan! Because I was just about to post a related question. I have a Sony Discman, and it plays the vast majority of CD-Rs just fine. In fact, the portable is what I almost always use to check the discs I burn before sending them out to any recipients. The other day, I suddenly had a problem playing 3 newly burned Mitsui discs in a row on the Discman. Imations, TDK's, Sony's and Fuji's that I'd burned the same night played just fine. I thought everyone here keeps ooh-ing and ahh-ing about how great Mistui's are, but this is the only time Ii've ever had this type of playback problem! Has anyone ever had trouble with Mitsuis being more finicky than other brands? By the way, the same discs played okay on my car stereo and on my computer CD drive, so I'm praying that they'll be fine for my recipient, as well. But anyway, Dan, with that one exception, the portable has been great for me. Cathy
