chocolate diamond Diamond Crown Review

Just had my first (and probably last) Diamond Crown Robusto last weekend at our regular monthly poker game. I had the 54 x 5.5 size and it was mild and smooth. However, it was my opinion and that of my other friends who tried them that the Diamond Crown lacked that good flavor that we enjoy from a good (and expensive) cigar. For my money (and to save quite a few in the process), I will take a Hemingway Classic anyday! Help me out on this one. I'm just a bit confused. What is the relationship between good flavor and a good(and expensive) cigar ? Must a cigar with a good flavor be good and expensive or just expensive? Isn't a good cigar simply a good cigar regardless of cost? Or is it your opinion that only expensive cigars are good. I've been smoking cigars for the better part of 20 years and I still fail to see a consistant relationship between quality and price. A puppy missle by any other name is a puppy missle, regardless of the cost. Some of the worst cigars I've ever smoked cost me 5 bucks or more, and some of the best, 3 bucks or less. I just don't see a quality/price relationship. Perhaps you could help me on this one.
