While at a furniture store the other day, Rayna was quite content to spend all of her time in the children's furniture area playing with the toy kitchen they had there (it was a Strawberry Shortcake one). She *really* liked it, and it held her attention for a long time (which is an extremely rare thing!). That particular kitchen seemed a little too big for her (e.g., she couldn't really reach the microwave), and I wasn't crazy about the design (it was also overpriced, IMO). But she enjoyed mixing up dough and baking cookies in the oven (and then eating them). So...obviously, we're thinking that a kitchen would be an excellent Christmas present for her. Can anyone recommend a good one for a two-year-old? I've seen recent ads for an interactive kitchen (all of the various parts have faces on them and talk). Can't remember the manufacturer right offhand. Anyone know what I'm referring to and know anything about that kitchen? Thanks! Mary

The Step 2 kitchens look really cool! I wanted to get one for the twins, too, but they have a very nice, used one at Grams and Pop-Pop's. Megan~ Mommy to wonder twins Aidan & Alexis....2 years old!!
