I am working with a student who is enrolled in a software course that consists of working on Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.   We have JAWS installed for him, but I have been warned that Word is the only one that works really well with JAWS. Does anyone have any expertise or suggestions on how best to train a blind person on Excel or Access.  Any insight so we don't have to reinvent the wheel would be great! Thanks. Hi Rob, The Lighthouse for the Blind in Seattle teaches classes on using JAWS with Word, Excel and Access. They can probably give you some support and ideas. Jennifer Hansen would be a good contact person, 206 436-2158.  A great website to check out is www.blindprogramming.com  They focus more on programming languages, but if you follow the _link_ to Data_base_ Programming they have some downloadable tutorial materials on Microsoft Access.  Another resource would be Al Yardley at Tacoma Goodwill 253 272-5166.  He has done some training in Excel and Access using JAWS. Good luck! Carole - Hide quoted text -- Show quoted text -
