KB 921896 downloads using Windows Vista Update but will not install.  I get error message 2B26 and sometimes 2B22.  I spent over 3 hours with Microsoft Live Chat India this morning.  The technician could not explain the meaning of the error codes.  I was told that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is incompatible with Vista.  So the technician remotely downloaded and installed Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP2.  When I tried to install KB 921896 again, I still received the same error code from Windows Update.  I was told that the technician downloaded the update that was compatible with Vista.  So what do I do?  This is the first big problem that I have experience with Vista since I upgraded from XP.
