Now I know who you named the car for. (Imagine emoticon here) Cheers, Gary Fuchs Hey gary - Don't mind Leon, he didn't have his medication yet today. <grin I've seen factory manuals for sale on e-bay but the price usually goes waaaaay too high too fast. I've got the Chilton's (a waste of money mostly) and the Enthusiast's Shop Manual as well as lots of print-outs from the garage section at www.miata.net Those usually get me thru most problems. Personally, I think my Mazda manual is best as far as factual info is concerned, but the Enthusiast manual is often helpful in getting the actual job done, while the Haynes has some (elementary) index. For a 1999 you have the difficulty that only the factory manual reflects the design changes and that the factory manual can only be obtained in the expensive full-size version. Or that is the last I heard. If you shell out for the factory manual, you may as well add just a little more and get the enthusiast and Haynes ones too, if you ask me. Leon
