panasonic schematics source for circuit board schematics for 1988 Hitachi VT-2700A VCR

Does anyone know a good source for 80's VCR schematics or specifically the 1988 or so Hitachi VT-2700A VCR? The channel up and down buttons on front panel and through remote are not working so i need to find the source of the problem. The IRT fuction buttons don't seem to be working either and are located near the channel buttons. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Paul Millington pm at digitalnebula.com
