Question: I own a '95 Ford Escort LX and I have a question regarding the check coolant light. Last month the check coolant light came on and when I checked the level of the coolant the level was fine. But with winter coming I decided to change my coolant. I did this and the check coolant light still comes on. So, I thought that maybe I might have a pressure problem with the rad cap so I replaced it. But, the check coolant light still comes on. I have approximatly 135,000 kms on this car. Any ideas on how to fix this?? It's not a big problem but I would like to have this resovled so that if a problem does occur with my coolant level that I am properly notified by the vehicle. Thanks.

Check you sensor, you may have a bad contact. Another possibility - if you actually having a overheating problem is to check your thermostat. good luck. Paul Hunter <
