Elena. The printer is: Canon BJC - 240( bibble jet printer) Hi Elena, You might try changing your printer settings through the control panel as follows: 1. Select Start, then click control panel. 2. In the control panel, click the printers icon. 3. Select the icon for the Canon BJ-240, and RIGHT click on it. 4. From the selection box, select properties. 5. Now, select the details tab and click the spool settings button 6. Make sure the following settings are in force (option marked).     a. Spool print jobs so printing finishes faster.     b. Start printing after FIRST page is spooled.     c. Spool Data format should be EMF (right arrow selects)     d. Enable bi-directions support for this printer. Once you select OK for these settings, you should notice some improved response. 3 pages per minute will probably be in draft mode, ie not great quality. My printer does 3 per minute draft mode and .5 per minute at presentation quality. Try reducing the quality for faster printing, it really doesn't make that much of a difference with text. If your doing graphics then it will take a long time because of the information needed to be printed. The only programs I've ever heard of to make printing faster are primarily print spoolers, sending info to the printer quicker. On some printers it is possible to upgrade the onboard memory to hold more info, but I think this just free's up your computer quicker, not actually print quicker.

The printer is: Canon BJC - 240( bibble jet printer) Click on Start | Settings | Printers | Right Click on Canon BJC-240 | Properties | Graphics | Print Quality = Draft | Color Model = Monochrone | Click on Apply and then Ok | It should be a lot faster now but the quality of the printout will be less desirable.
