:- - Talking about printer drivers - some of us still use 9 pin dot matrix printers. :- - :- - Have you ever seen how horrible the printing is from OS/2 (eg from Newsreader :- - or WEBexplorer) on one of these printers? Yes I am using the highest :- - resolution. :- :- I agree. My 24 pin printer output looks like crap with OS/2 printer drivers :- compared to Windows (any flavour), and in fact all the resolutions it's :- capable of (which windows drivers have) aren't included in the os/2 OMNI :- driver. Sigh. Sometimes i wish OS/2 wasn't such a good OS, because things :- like this bug me. Then i have to choose, do i want nice printer output on :- my 24 pin printer -or- a decent OS... sigh. :-

oes anyone know how to get descent print (USING WARP) from a 9 (for me) :or 24 pin (for Guenther) Epson compatible printer? : :Thanks Try the KXP-1124 Panasonic driver. It seems to be much better-written than any of the Epson drivers. Or buy a cheap inkjet, if you can. Nobody is writing dot drivers anymore, but a lot of people are writing inkjet drivers. Buddy
