Hi all, i am searching for people that could help me on how to configure a network printer that is connected to an HP JetDirect Printserver. In my special situation i am trying to print to an HP LaserJet 4P which is connected to Port 1 of a JetDirect 500x Printserver. Here's a snippet from our /etc/printcap for such a beast: # Datastation Printer (First) lj5m1:

d=/var/spool/lpd/lj5m1: :mx#0:

: Basically, after configuring tcp/ip on it, just point to the printers named raw1 , raw2 , and raw3 on the port. No, they don't document this in the 500x documentation
